Canadian Provincial and Territorial Survey Expenditures

The Committee of Provincial Geologists reports annually on the expenditures on geoscience activities by its member surveys and agencies. The expenditures are reported using common definitions and a standardized format for the fiscal year for each provincial and territorial member. As each jurisdiction uses slightly different accounting and reporting procedures, it should be noted that there are some differences in reporting between them. Please contact the jurisdiction directly if you wish to receive their officially sanctioned budgets.

The budget information is reported in the CPG Journal by jurisdiction; however, it is always for the previous fiscal year (i.e. the journal is dated 2003 and the budgets are for fiscal year 2002-03).
